That is a beautiful piece of mid-century engineering! Junghans Ato-Vox, a premium travel alarm clock made in Germany, dating from the late 1950s to the 1960s. What makes this clock special is the "ATO" technology. Junghans licensed this electromagnetic movement design from Leon Hatot (a famous French clockmaker). Instead of a traditional mainspring that you wind by hand, it uses a battery to pulse an electromagnet, which keeps the balance wheel swinging. Fully working and in excellent conditions.
