Technical Specifications: Brand: Sarcar Genève Period: 1970s Reference Number (Inside Caseback): 10 272 B Serial Number: 652405 Movement: Swiss Made, Manual-Wind FHF 96-4 (Fabrique d'Horlogerie de Fontainemelon), 17 Jewels, featuring Incabloc shock protection. Case Material: Gold Plated case with a Stainless Steel caseback ("Fond Acier Inoxydable"). Strap: Black leather strap with lizard/reptile texture. Condition & Functionality: Movement: In incredibly impressive operational condition. The watch starts ticking immediately after just 3 to 4 turns of the crown. It keeps time normally. Dial & Hands: Very clean, original dial with minimal signs of aging, offering a great vintage look. Case & Crystal: The watch is offered in its authentic, unpolished condition, which collectors highly prefer. The gold plating shows light, honest wear consistent with its 50+ year history. The acrylic crystal (plexiglass) has minor hairline scratches that are only visible under close inspection and can easily be buffed out with Polywatch or by a watchmaker. Service History: There is a faint watchmaker's service engraving on the inside caseback from November 1977.
