This example is not the later produced ‘Heritage Retro version’ – this masterpiece is the authentic 1970s Original. __ The watch brand “ESKA” is a phonetic abbreviation (of the initials) of the founder Silvan Kocher:  S_ilvan & K_ocher = ’ES” & “KA” | ESKA. ESKA | The founder of the watch brand ESKA, Mr. Silvan Kocher Senior, was born in 1867. His family came from the village of Selzach in German-speaking Switzerland. In earlier centuries, members of the Kocher family worked in agriculture as fishermen and also as farmers. In March 1918, immediately after the end of the First World War, Silvan Kocher Senior and his eldest son Erwin founded the “S. Kocher & Co.” watch factory.  Since 2019 the success story of ESKA, this remarkable watch brand, continues.
