Description
The pocket watch is a J.L. & A Béguelin Universal World Timer - 'Spherometer'. The watch is crown wound showing hour, minute and world time for 26 coloured locations on front dial and 27 coloured locations on the back dial with inner rotating centre. This is the rarer 49mm 12-hour World Timer. White enamel dials, hand-signed by Béguelin. Front dial in excellent condition. Rear dial with damage as shown. Blued Breguet hands. Unpolished watch case - back with minor dents. Case number 3221 49mm diameter, 16mm height, weighing 97g. Plexi glass Overall good condition for age. Watch is functional and was last serviced in 2019.
