Favre-Leuba Bathy 50 is a rare 1960s dive model featuring a mechanical depth gauge function. This stainless-steel diver’s watch, approximately 40 mm in diameter and fitted with a bidirectional bakelite bezel, has a black dial, central red depth indication up to 50 m, and a separate minute/seconds scale; inside ticks a Peseux 320 hand-wound movement. The depth is measured by a membrane integrated into the case, which transmits the pressure to the red depth gauge hand – making the Bathy 50 one of the first wristwatches capable of displaying both dive time and current depth simultaneously. Excellent condition, freshly serviced. Strap is not original. Original strap is available too. Rare collector’s piece!
