This Swiss-made timepiece is one of Glycine’s most recognizable and collectible models, originally favored by pilots and travelers during the golden age of aviation. This example features a stainless steel case with rotating 24-hour bezel, dual-crown configuration, black 24-hour dial, and date display at 3 o’clock. The watch is powered by an automatic movement and fitted with a brown genuine leather strap. The caseback is marked “PAT. 314050,” corresponding to Glycine’s patented locking bezel system used on early Airman models. The dial is also marked “Incabloc” and “Waterproof,” period-correct features found on vintage Swiss watches of this era.
